Abstract:
A narrow and flat platform with hidden embedded magnetic material covered
by a smooth bonded surface. One or more receptacles ordered in a single
line with magnetic material connected to the receptacle's base. The
receptacles adhere to the platform's smooth surface magnetically and can
be removed easily.Claims:
1. A platform comprising: At least one or more embedded magnets covered
with a bond and smoothed over leaving a flat surface; and at least one or
more beverage receptacles with a magnetic base capable of adhering to the
platform while the platform is being turned on its side allowing at least
one or more users to drink from the receptacles. A platform as in claim 1
where the platform in a ski. A platform as in claim 1 where the platform
in a hockey stick.Description:

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0004] A Multiple User Drinking Apparatus of the invention allows at least one or more users to simultaneously drink from individual receptacles attached to the same base. Instead of placing cup holders on a platform or have receptacles connect mechanically to a base, the receptacles adhere to the base using magnetic material. The magnetic material is hidden within the platform to allow a quick placement and removal of the receptacle, an easy surface to clean, a safer design with fewer protrusions, an apparatus that is easier to store, and remain more robust.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005] A Multiple User Drinking Apparatus of the invention allows at least one or more users to simultaneously drink from individual receptacles attached to the same platform. The apparatus's base uses hidden embedded magnets covered by a smooth finish to connect with the receptacles that have magnetic bases.
[0006] The smooth finish of the platform allows the apparatus to get cleaned and buffed without any protrusions. Placing and removing the receptacles from their magnetized locations is faster and easier than placing them in a receptacle holder. Storing the apparatus is also convenient, as it is flat and stackable.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE INVENTION
[0007] FIG. 1 is a top view of receptacles adhering to the platform of the invention
[0008] FIG. 2 is a side view of receptacles and platform of the invention lined up with magnetic material
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0009] FIG. 1 shows a platform 1 with at least one receptacle 3 adhering to the platform 1. FIG. 2 shows a platform with at least one embedded magnet 2. The embedded magnet 2 is hidden and cannot be seen, as it is covered with a bond 5 and smoothed over. An embedded magnet 2 adheres to the magnetic base 4 found in an individual receptacle 3.
[0010] A receptacle can be place near the embedded magnets of the platform and instantaneously adhere to the platform. When at least one or more users drink from receptacles, the platform is tilted and the magnets keep the receptacles in place allowing at least one or more users to drink simultaneously.
