Description:
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0001] Stretching and exercising is known to have many health benefits. Experts suggest properly stretching before and after exercising to prevent injury and increase range of motion. Because stretching and exercise is essential for a healthy lifestyle, inventors devote considerable effort and resources toward the development of inexpensive, easy to use, multi-purpose, multi-use and portable resistance and exercise equipment.
[0002] To reduce the need to invest in expensive home exercise equipment and gym memberships, it would be highly desirable to provide an improved multi-use, multi-purpose and inexpensive stretching and exercise device which promotes a healthy lifestyle.
[0003] It is therefore a purpose of the invention to promote physical activity.
[0004] Another use of the invention is to provide easy to use, new and improved, inexpensive and portable, stretching and exercise device that facilitates range of motion and promotes muscle growth.
[0005] Attempts have been made to create a multi-use stretching and exercising device. For example U.S. Pat. No. 7,426,155 describes a stretching and exercising apparatus however, due to its design this type of machine is limited in use. Other references include:

[0015] Accordingly, a need exists in the industry for a device that is low cost, comfortable and allows users to easily exercise and stretch multiple muscle groups without the need for multiple devices and the need to substantially change body positions.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0016] The multi-use stretching and exercising device is comprised of two hand finger grip mounts interconnected, on opposing ends, of a non-elastic strap with removable comfort support. The device is directed to an improved body stretching and exercise device that facilitates resistance and exercise. In operation, the user places the strap with removable comfort support around the head, ankle, arm, leg or overhead structure and the device is set in motion in response to a force acting upon the finger grip mounts.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0017] In the accompanying drawings forming a material part of this description, there is shown:
[0018] FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of a preferred embodiment of the present disclosure.
[0019] FIG. 2 illustrates an enlarged view of the comfort support section of the preferred embodiment of the present disclosure of FIG. 1.
[0020] FIG. 3 illustrates an enlarged view of the comfort support pad of FIG. 2.
[0021] FIG. 4 illustrates an enlarged view of a hand finger grip mount of the preferred embodiment of the present disclosure of FIG. 1.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0022] Device which allows a user to exercise and stretch several different muscle groups. The multiuse stretching and exercise device can be used to stretch the gluteal, hamstring, quadriceps, arms, lateral muscles, hips, neck or exercise and strengthen the abdominal, upper back, chest, biceps, triceps and lateral muscles, without the user having to substantially change positions, connect attachments or use alternate equipment.
[0023] Referring now to the drawing figures, the multi-use stretching and exercise device of the present disclosure will be described in detail. As shown in FIG. 1, the multi-use stretching and exercising device 10 is comprised of two hand finger grip mounts 12 interconnected, on opposing ends, of a non-elastic strap 14 with removable comfort support 16. The device is directed to an improved body stretching and exercise device that facilitates resistance and exercise. In operation, the user places the strap 14 with removable comfort support 16 around the head, ankle, arm, leg or overhead structure and the device is set in motion in response to a force acting upon the finger grip mounts 12.
[0024] FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the portion of the strap 14 having thereon the removable comfort support 16. It can be seen that the strap 14 is threaded through loops 18 on one side of the comfort support pad 16. FIG. 3 is a further enlarged view of the comfort support pad 16 having loops 18.
[0025] FIG. 4 shows an enlarged view of one of the two hand finger grip mounts 12. The strap 14 attaches to the portion 22 of the mount 12. The portion 24 is shaped for fingers to comfortably grasp the hand finger grip mount.
