20100276386 | Truck mounted telescopic boom structure including a stowable jib boom with a stowable personnel basket - A truck mounted telescopic boom structure including a stowable jib boom having a stowable personnel basket mounted thereon is described. A mounting structure is provided at the outer end of the innermost boom section of the boom structure and includes means for pivotally moving a work platform or basket between operative and stowed positions. When the boom structure and the jib boom are in their stowed positions, the personnel basket is positioned closely adjacent the jib boom at one side thereof so as to be within the highway width restrictions. The instant invention enables the personnel basket to be connected to the outer end of the jib boom at all times without the necessity of removing the personnel basket from the jib boom when the jib boom and the boom structure are in their stowed positions. | 11-04-2010 |
20110031204 | OPERATOR'S CABIN FOR A STRADDLE CARRIER - An operator's cabin for a straddle carrier. The straddle carrier includes a portal frame, to which belong essentially vertical supporting pillars, and a top frame connecting them at the top. On each side of the straddle carrier at the bottom end of the supporting pillars there are wheels carrying the portal frame. The straddle carrier's operator's cabin is mounted in the front part of the straddle carrier resting on the top frame on one side of the straddle carrier's center line in the driving direction. The operator's cabin is mounted to rest on the straddle carrier's top frame with the aid of a separate intermediate frame, which in a situation where the straddle carrier is falling over and the portal frame is crashing to the ground is allowed to move in the straddle carrier's transverse direction. The intermediate frame is equipped with a brake device or with corresponding brake devices to receive and absorb the kinetic energy of the operator's cabin and to bring about a controlled movement and a decelerating force for the operator's cabin before the movement stops in a situation where the straddle carrier is falling over. To the straddle carrier's top frame is mounted and attached at least one slide guide bar extending in the horizontal direction and in the straddle carrier's transverse direction, and the intermediate frame is equipped with at least one sliding wagon, which is mounted to move along the slide guide bar. | 02-10-2011 |
20120152879 | Screw-Driven Vertically-Elevating Cab - A lifting system for a vertically-elevating cab, the lifting system includes a frame assembly having a first and a second support column, first and a second lift screws which are attached to the, respective, first and second support columns, a cab-lifting beam that has a first and a second end attached to the, respective, first and second lift screws. A vertically-elevating cab is mounted on the cab-lifting beam in such a manner that a center of gravity of the cab is not aligned with a center of the cab-lifting beam. A plurality of rollers are located on each end of the lifting beam. Each one of the plurality of rollers is in contact with a guide bar on each of the respective first and second support columns, and a first and a second power system is connected to the, respective, first and second lift screw. | 06-21-2012 |

20140110367 | CRANE - A tower crane, and in particular a hammerhead crane, having at least one crane operator elevator, wherein the at least one crane operator elevator is arranged inside the rectangular cross section of the crane tower. | 04-24-2014 |
20140209553 | LARGE MOBILE CRANE - A large mobile crane including an undercarriage. The undercarriage includes a middle section between tracks, wherein a distance between the tracks can be increased or decreased by the insertion or removal of expansion parts. The two tracks are connected on opposite sides of the undercarriage to permit movement of the large mobile crane. The undercarriage also includes a drive unit, a superstructure, one or more control stations, at least two main booms, at least one derrick boom, and at least two lifting devices and counterweights. The counterweights are either arranged separately of or mounted on the undercarriage. The large mobile crane further includes a circular track, and support rollers attached to the superstructure, wherein the support rollers ride on the circular track, and wherein the circular track is an integral part of the expansion parts. | 07-31-2014 |
20150122762 | Self-Propelled Type Crane - The present invention relates to a self-propelled type crane that has outriggers, provided at both ends of the front area and both ends of the rear area of the vehicle body, inclined downward from the top to the outside, thereby helping simply manufacture each outrigger with one cylinder, helps prevent each outrigger from falling down while the crane is operated to lift heavy loads, reduces electrical loss by operating only one of the electric motors and one of the hydraulic pumps when a small amount of power for operation is needed, and increases power output by using both the two electric motors and the two hydraulic pumps when a large amount of power for operation is needed. | 05-07-2015 |
20160137464 | MOBILE CRANE - A mobile crane including a frame which, in its upper part, is provided with a main support structure and which, in its lower part and on opposite sides of the lower part of the frame, is provided with lower beam structures transverse to the main support structure, and upright legs between the main support structure and the lower beam structures; at least one wheel or wheel arrangement at both ends of the lower beam structures, i.e. in each lower corner of the crane; a trolley arranged to move along the main support structure and provided with a hoisting member; at least one hoisting mechanism; at least one rope drum arranged to be run by the hoisting mechanism; and at least one rope arranged from the rope drum of the hoisting mechanism to the hoisting member for running it, the rope drum being further provided with at least one hoisting rope connected to at least one counterweight. | 05-19-2016 |
