20150373736 | METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION REFERENCE SIGNAL, HYBRID SPATIAL DIVISION MULTIPLEXING, AND SPACE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM USING TWO-DIMENSIONAL PLANAR ARRAY ANTENNA - The present invention proposes a hybrid spatial multiplexing (SM) and a space division multiple access (SDMA) technique in a frequency division duplex (FDD) massive multiple-input multiple output (MIMO) system using a two-dimensional planar array antenna, which effectively transmits a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) for estimating a downlink two-dimensional space channel using only a limited amount of downlink radio resources, and optimally selects and performs the SM and SDMA techniques in a two-dimensional space channel. To this end, the present invention proposes a technique which defines space resource blocks (SRB) by grouping space elements (SE) having a high spatial correlation between downlink channels in the horizontal dimension and corresponding SEs thereof in the vertical dimension, and transmits CSI-RSs for estimating channels in vertical dimension SEs corresponding to one selected horizontal SE in each SRB every transmit time interval (TTI). The present invention proposes a technique wherein user equipment (UE) estimates the spatial correlation between channels of different horizontal dimension SEs belonging to the same SRB received in different TTIs and the spatial correlation between channels of horizontal dimension SEs belonging to different SRBs received in the same TTI, and feeds information for changing the size of SRB of the corresponding UE to an optimal size back to eNodeB. The present invention proposes a technique wherein the UE estimates downlink channels through CSI-RSs transmitted from each SRB, and each UE feeds an index of a preferred SRB, a rank of the corresponding SRB in the vertical dimension, and channel quality information (CQI) back to eNodeB. When each UE determines the rank, it is possible to transmit the ranks to the fullest extent in the vertical dimension and only a single rank from each SRB in the horizontal dimension. | 2015-12-24 |

20150373831 | STRETCHABLE ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS WITH CONTAINMENT CHAMBERS - The present invention provides electronic systems, including device arrays, comprising functional device(s) and/or device component(s) at least partially enclosed via one or more containment chambers, such that the device(s) and/or device component(s) are at least partially, and optionally entirely, immersed in a containment fluid. Useful containment fluids for use in containment chambers of electronic devices of the invention include lubricants, electrolytes and/or electronically resistive fluids. In some embodiments, for example, electronic systems of the invention comprise one or more electronic devices and/or device components provided in free-standing and/or tethered configurations that decouple forces originating upon deformation, stretching or compression of a supporting substrate from the free standing or tethered device or device component. | 2015-12-24 |
20150373832 | CIRCUIT-AND-HEAT-DISSIPATION ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME - A circuit-and-heat-dissipation assembly includes: a heat sink including a heat absorbing base and a heat dissipating element, the heat absorbing base having a circuit-forming surface and an element-forming surface, the heat dissipating element protruding from the element-forming surface for dissipating heat conducted from the heat absorbing base into an ambient environment; an insulator layer formed on the circuit-forming surface; and a patterned circuit formed on the insulator layer. | 2015-12-24 |
20150373833 | PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME - There are provided a printed circuit board and a method of manufacturing the same. According to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, a printed circuit board includes: an insulating layer; a first outer layer circuit pattern formed in a lower portion of the insulating layer to be embedded in the insulating layer; and a second outer layer circuit pattern formed on the insulating layer to protrude from the insulating layer. | 2015-12-24 |
20150373834 | MOUNTING BLOCK AND A MOUNTING ASSEMBLY THAT INCORPORATES THE MOUNTING BLOCK - A mounting block is provided that has a multi-level upper surface that is used to mount one or more IC chips and the printed circuit board (PCB) thereon at heights that allow the lengths of the bond wires interconnecting the chips with the PCB and/or with the other IC chips to be reduced. The distances between the levels of the multi-level surface are preselected based at least in part on the known height of the PCB and the known height of at least one of the IC chips such that when the chip and the PCB are mounted on the mounting block, the distance between the contact pads of the PCB and the contact pads of the IC chip is very small, thereby allowing the lengths of the bond wires to be kept very short. | 2015-12-24 |
20150373835 | METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SHIELD PRINTED WIRING BOARD, AND SHIELD FILM AND SHIELD PRINTED WIRING BOARD - A method of manufacturing a shield printed wiring board, a shield film, and a shield printed wiring board, which make it possible to achieve cost reduction, are provided. A method of manufacturing a shield printed wiring board includes the steps of: forming a shield film which includes an insulating layer formed of resin in which polymerization has proceeded so that a resin cure degree is 90% or higher, a metal layer stacked onto the insulating layer, and an adhesive layer stacked onto the metal layer; mounting the shield film on a printed board; and thermally pressing the shield film and the printed board onto each other. | 2015-12-24 |
