20140299664 | SECURE PAYMENT CARD INTERFACE - The invention relates to a smartcard reader, and more particularly, to systems, devices and methods of creating a card input/output interface that allows the smartcard reader to couple to a smartcard within a secure cavity. The secure cavity is mounted on an internal side of a system housing, i.e., a smartcard socket, included in the smartcard reader. An interface chip is further attached inside the secure cavity. When the smartcard is inserted to a designated position or depth inside the system housing, the secure cavity encloses the interface chip and its contact area with the smartcard. Mechanical contacts on the interface chip are thus aligned to and physically contact electrical connectors on the inserted smartcard, so as to electrically couple the interface chip and the smartcard. As a result, sensitive data within the smartcard may be protected from exposure to any tamper attempt and processed with an enhanced security level. | 10-09-2014 |

20100119114 | DETERMINING RELATIVE DEPTH OF POINTS IN MULTIPLE VIDEOS - A relative depth of points captured by at least two recording sources are determined. A first sequence of image frames acquired from a first source and a second sequence of image frames acquired from a second source are received by a data processing system. The data processing system identifies a plurality of points-of-interest, each point-of-interest being present in both the first sequence and the second sequence. The points-of-interest are clustered into common depth planes at least by comparing motion across the sequences of different points-of-interest. Results of the clustering are stored in a processor-accessible memory system. | 05-13-2010 |

20110109211 | Furniture Product with Power Port Feature - A furniture product is provided comprising a power port disposed on an exterior side surface of the furniture product, for providing regulated and unregulated power for electronic devices disposed external to the furniture product. The power port comprises a variable attenuator providing a regulated power output, a regulated power output cord having a first end connected to the attenuator and a second end extending exterior to the furniture product and an electrical power receptacle provided a first unregulated power output. | 05-12-2011 |
20110198972 | FLAT SCREEN ARMOIRE - A flat screen armoire is disclosed which includes a flat screen enclosure area defining first and second interior side walls, a lower interior surface and an upper interior surface. A flat screen support bracket is provided including a vertical support member pivotably engaged to the upper and lower interior surfaces and extending proximate the first side wall. The support bracket further includes a horizontal support member engaged to and extending horizontally from the vertical support member. The support bracket is pivotable from a stowed position within the enclosure area to a position substantially exterior of the armoire, while maintaining clearance from the interior side walls. A false back is engaged to and supported by the horizontal support member so as to pivot with the support bracket so as to conceal the flat screen enclosure area behind the false back when the support bracket is in the stowed position. | 08-18-2011 |
20110271449 | Bed Headboard with Ventilation System - A bed headboard is provided having output ports for directing individually adjustable airflows towards different areas of the headboard. A headboard comprises a headboard upper portion and an overhang disposed proximate the headboard upper portion. The overhang further includes a bottom surface and a pair of side surfaces, defining an overhang compartment. A blower is provided in the overhang compartment. A plurality of output ports are provided in fluid communication with the blower and extending through the overhang bottom surface. The output ports may be adjustable to regulate the direction of airflow therefrom and/or volume of airflow therethrough. | 11-10-2011 |
