20100102937 | Method and Apparatus for Stimulating Power Line Carrier Injection with Reactive Oscillation - Stimulating power line carrier injection with reactive oscillation comprises exciting a tank circuit to oscillate at the carrier frequency by sinking pulses of current between one node of a capacitor in the tank circuit and the other node of the capacitor. A power transformer is connected to a distribution system to inject power line carrier onto the power line. An excitation circuit sinks short pulses of current between one node of a capacitor and the other node of the capacitor that is connected in a tank circuit arrangement with an inductor and the secondary winding of the power transformer. The tank circuit oscillates at the frequency of the excitation pulses if the resonant frequency of the tank circuit is close to the frequency of excitation. The oscillating current is coupled onto the power line system through the power transformer. The phase of the power line carrier signal is shifted by shifting the phase of the excitation pulses. | 04-29-2010 |

20130061522 | Flood Protection Device - The flood protection device is a door, patio door, window, french window, garage door or similar solution for closing apertures in buildings offering flood protection up to a predetermined height that includes a number of conduits which may be installed within a wall, a window, door or any other barrier in the outer perimeter of a building and conduits that extend through the barrier to allow water to enter into the building above the pre-determined height. The conduits are sited at a height at or below the height at which the force exerted upon the barrier by external water is equal to the maximum force which the barrier can withstand without undergoing failure. The flood protection device may be fitted with a visual and audible internal indicator and locking or disabling mechanism to prevent the device being opened in the presence of flood water. | 03-14-2013 |

20130269516 | Compact Linear Actuator with Anti-Rotation Device - A linear actuator is provided having a housing with a bore having at least first and second portions extending therethrough. The second portion has a polygonal geometry with substantially rounded corners having at least one planar bearing surface. A shaft is in sliding engagement with the first portion of the bore, and a piston member is operatively coupled to the shaft. The piston member has a mating geometry to the second portion of the bore, wherein the piston member is in sliding engagement with the second portion of the bore. An anti-rotation member is coupled to the piston member or shaft and has a generally D-shaped geometry with a planar anti-rotation bearing surface. Contact between the anti-rotation member and the housing is limited to a sliding engagement between the anti-rotation bearing surface and one of the at least one bearing surfaces based on an orientation of the anti-rotation member. | 10-17-2013 |
