20130322618 | SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECURING MULTIPLE DATA SEGMENTS HAVING DIFFERENT LENGTHS USING PATTERN KEYS HAVING MULTIPLE DIFFERENT STRENGTHS - A system and method for securing data and information is disclosed. Multiple cryptographic paradigms may be applied to multiple length data segments to encrypt such data to prevent unauthorized use. The system and method uses pattern keys. At least one pattern key uses a cryptographic paradigm different from the other pattern keys. Furthermore, each pattern key has a given key strength and at least one pattern keys key strength differs from the one or more other pattern keys used in the process. The pattern keys are applied to the data in accordance with a key pattern which defines the sequence that each pattern key is applied to the data. The length of each data segment may vary one from the other and such segment length is determined in accordance with the pattern key applied. In addition, the initial plaintext data may first be encrypted using a first password before the disclosed process is implemented | 12-05-2013 |

20120165910 | COLD COMPRESS FOR THERAPEUTIC COOLING - A novel cold compress designed for use as a cooling medium. The cold compress comprises a flexible bag having a plurality of spheres. Each sphere contains a heat transfer fluid. As the bag is cooled or frozen, each sphere and the fluid they contain become cool or frozen. The bag is then placed on a body part of the patient who is recovering from surgery or injury. The small spheres allow maximum surface contact with the body part. This allows maximum and efficient heat transfer. | 06-28-2012 |

20150227543 | METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REPLICATION OF FILES AND FILE SYSTEMS USING A DEDUPLICATION KEY SPACE - A method and apparatus for rapid replication of deduplicated file system data is described. The method may include initiating replication of a file from a source deduplication system to a destination deduplication system, and transferring deduplication metadata for each block of the file from the source deduplication system to the destination deduplication system. The method may also include transferring an identifier file from the source deduplication system to the destination deduplication system that includes a block number corresponding to a block of the file and a unique identifier value generated from the block of the file. The method may also include receiving a data request file from the destination deduplication system, and transferring the blocks of data identified in the data request file to complete replication of the file on the destination deduplication system. | 08-13-2015 |
