20080242365 | DEVICES AND METHODS FOR HANDS-FREE CONNECTIVITY TO PLURAL DEVICES - Disclosed are a hands-free device and a method of a hands-free device for automatic connectivity to two or more handheld devices. Upon power-up of the hands-free device, the device may cycle through all voice communication devices on its paired device list until it either cycles through the entire list or establishes a connection link before reaching the end of the list. It may then cycle through all non-voice communication devices on its paired device list. Once all voice and non-voice communication devices on the paired device list have been paged, the hands-free device may enter an idle mode where it is possible for a user to add a new device to the paired device list. The hands-free device may repeat the cycle through the voice communication devices in the paired device list, at a slower rate than the previous cycle through. | 10-02-2008 |

20120246619 | AUTOMATED TESTING OF BROWSER BASED RICH INTERNET APPLICATIONS (RIA) DELIVERED THROUGH PROPRIETARY FRAMEWORKS - Facilitating automated testing of browser based Rich Internet Applications (RIA) delivered through proprietary frameworks. According to one aspect, code modules of an RIA designed to not make user interface components accessible to an automated testing platform are modified by adding instructions such that the modified modules when executed makes the components accessible to the testing platform. The testing platform accordingly is enabled to access the data representing the components to check whether the performance of the RIA is according to an expected operation. According to another aspect, the different user interface components are made addressable by the testing platform by inserting unique values for an attribute common to all the components (as part of the modified modules). According to one more aspect, the modified modules are compiled along with a pre-defined set of libraries required to make the components accessible by the testing platform. | 09-27-2012 |

20110133100 | METHOD OF PUMPING QUANTUM DOTS - Strongly confined semiconductor quantum dots theoretically offer for broadband and continuous tunability of their emitting wavelength based upon simply varying the particle size. However, prior art consistently has demonstrated a lower particle size limit below which optical gain cannot be achieved, for example 2.3 nm for CdSe in toluene. As such the prior art points to combinations of alternative materials and host media as the route to achieving the goal of broadband emission sources using quantum dots. However, according to the invention optical gain can be achieved in quantum dots below these previous experimental limits by resonantly pumping the quantum dots to a specific excitonic state, i.e. electron position relative to the quantum dot, such that the multiexcitonic interferences are minimized. Using this approach optical gain in CdSe of R=2.1 nm and 1.5 nm has been demonstrated in the yellow/amber region of the visible spectrum. | 06-09-2011 |

20130335735 | Method and System for Optical Spectroscopy - Two dimensional (2D) optical spectroscopy, wherein the spectrum has an excitation and an emission axis, reveals information formerly hidden in one-dimensional (1D) optical spectroscopy. However, current two dimensional optical spectroscopy systems are complex laboratory arrangements and accordingly limited in deployment. According to embodiments of the invention a monolithic platform providing significantly reduced complexity and increased robustness is provided allowing for “black-box” modules allowing commercial deployment of 2D optical spectroscopy instruments. Additionally, the invention supports high pulse repetition rates as well as one quantum and two quantum measurements under electronic control. | 12-19-2013 |

20100189110 | Multipath data communication - A multipath data communication network structure in which probing middle-boxes send periodical probe messages through their different interfaces and subsequent routers map the probe messages through their randomly selected interfaces until each probe message arrives at a destination, engages to a loop or meets a time-to-live limit. The probing middle boxes select a random interface for each probe message and furnish their routable identification and a temporary random number correlated to the selected interface to each probe messages. Subsequent multipath routers select a random outgoing interface and random forwarding state descriptor (FSD) and temporarily correlate the selected random outgoing interface with the FSD and add the FSD to the probe message. The probe messages provide different destinations with various hidden paths. Each hidden path enables forwarding of packets from probing middle-boxes to the destination without identifying any routable address en-route to the destination. The destination then provides a data source with the hidden path. Each multipath network element only store their mappings related to the paths for limited term so that each path expires and vanishes after the term. Attackers are not issued a new path and thus denial of service attacks are shortly stopped. | 07-29-2010 |
