20100037027 | Transaction Manager And Cache For Processing Agent - A processing agent is used in a system that transfers data of a predetermined data line length during external transactions. The agent may include an internal cache having a plurality of cache entries. Each cache entry may store multiple data line lengths of data. The agent further may include a transaction queue system having queue entries that include a primary entry including an address portion and status portion, the status portion provided for a first external transaction of the agent, and a secondary entry including a status portion provided for a second external transaction. | 02-11-2010 |

20150127983 | TEST, VALIDATION, AND DEBUG ARCHITECTURE - An apparatus and method is described herein for providing a test, validation, and debug architecture. At a target or base level, hardware (Design for Test or DFx) are designed into and integrated with silicon parts. A controller may provide abstracted access to such hooks, such as through an abstraction layer that abstracts low level details of the hardware DFx. In addition, the abstraction layer through an interface, such as APIs, provides services, routines, and data structures to higher-level software/presentation layers, which are able to collect test data for validation and debug of a unit/platform under test. Moreover, the architecture potentially provides tiered (multiple levels of) secure access to the test architecture. Additionally, physical access to the test architecture for a platform may be simplified through use of a unified, bi-directional test access port, while also potentially allowing remote access to perform remote test and de-bug of a part/platform under test. In essence, a complete test architecture stack is described herein for test, validation, and debug of electronic parts, devices, and platforms. | 05-07-2015 |

20090158225 | METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATICALLY ACCESSING INTERNAL SIGNALS OR PORTS IN A DESIGN HIERARCHY - A method is disclosed that employs a hierarchical path database generator for accessing internal signal or port names in a design hierarchy of an integrated circuit design. The method comprises the steps of inputting design files into the hierarchical path database generator; and said hierarchical path database generator determining ports and signals in said design files, and storing the names of said ports and signals in a hierarchical database in a logical hierarchical order. The method comprises the further steps of providing a testcase to verify a defined aspect of the integrated circuit design; parsing the testcase to identify all signal and port names therein; and for each of the signal and port names identified in the testcase, inputting said each name into the hierarchical path database generator, and obtaining from that generator a hierarchical path associated with said each signal and port name. | 06-18-2009 |
