20110049835 | CUSTOM DECORATIVE COVERING FOR BICYCLES AND THE LIKE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE OF THE COVERING - A custom-cut decorative covering, and method of its manufacture, is disclosed, the covering designed to substantially cover at least a frame of a bicycle or similar device without a need for user cutting and/or trimming of the covering. The covering of the invention can be quickly applied and quickly removed and/or replaced, and thoroughly covers portions of the bike so as to make them appear painted. The method for manufacturing the covering includes receiving make and model information and covering-material selection information, converting make and model information into surface-covering information, which information is then sent to a CNC cutting machine, and feeding selected covering material into the CNC machine to be cut in accordance with the surface-covering information. Surface-covering information can be provided by table look-up, CAD/CAM modeling, surface scanning, or hand-measuring of real bicycle parts. In exemplary embodiments, the covering has an adhesive inner surface. | 03-03-2011 |

20080270197 | PROJECT STATUS CALCULATION ALGORITHM - Disclosed are a method and system for assessing the status of a project that remove subjectivity from the status reporting by implementing an algorithm to calculate red, yellow, green status of each of a multitude of keys and the overall project. The assessment uses a series of questions based on risk management, project management, system engineering, architecture, and testing disciplines to probe projects and solicit objective responses with scores and a conversion of the score into a red, yellow, green status. The advantage to this solution is that a consistent standard is provided, eliminating the accidental or purposeful exclusion of key details in status reporting that frequently result in a more optimistic status than what reality should reflect. | 10-30-2008 |

20090124908 | Method And Apparatus For Detecting Ultrasound Contrast Agents In Arterioles - A method and apparatus for ultrasound imaging of microbubbles of a contrast agent in arterioles while all microbubbles of the contrast agent have been eliminated in the capillaries of a patient and tissue signal response to ultrasound imaging is suppressed. This method and apparatus permits ultrasound imaging for detecting coronary artery disease without the need for a stress test. | 05-14-2009 |
20100056921 | QUANTIFIED PERFUSION STUDIES WITH ULTRASONIC THICK SLICE IMAGING - An ultrasonic diagnostic imaging system scans a plurality of planar slices in a volumetric region containing tissue which has been perfused by a contrast agent. The plurality of slices scanned are parallel to each other. Following detection of the image data of the slices the slice data is combined by projecting the data in the elevation dimension to produce an elevationally combined slice image. Combining may be by means of an averaging or maximum intensity detection or weighting process or by raycasting in the elevation dimension in a volumetric rendering process. The elevationally combined slice image is processed to produce a qualitative or quantitative measure of perfusion, such as an image with degrees of perfusion indicated by a range of brightness levels, an image of color perfusion parameters, or a perfusion curve or curve parameter indicating rate of perfusion. | 03-04-2010 |
