20110247364 | PROCESS FOR PRODUCING MULTICRYSTALLINE SILICON INGOTS BY THE INDUCTION METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CARRYING OUT THE SAME - This invention is related to obtaining multicrystalline silicon using induction method. The method comprises melting and casting of a pool in the form of a melting space, crystallization of a multicrystalline silicon ingot, and its controlled cooling by means of a heating equipment set. After the pool melting and casting is terminated, crystallization of the remaining part of the multicrystalline silicon ingot is finished along with the controlled cooling of the whole ingot; the ingot is then removed together with a movable bottom and the heating equipment set; and its controlled cooling continues. At the same time, another heating equipment set is supplied to the vacated place with another movable bottom; then the new movable bottom is moved into the water-cooled crucible; and the process steps are repeated in order to produce the next ingot. The method is implemented using an apparatus that additionally includes a platform installed in the controlled cooling compartment and designed to revolve on its axis. This platform holds at least two heating equipment sets. The proposed invention ensures increased output of multicrystalline silicon suitable for production of solar cells. | 10-13-2011 |
20120137473 | PROCESS FOR PRODUCTION OF MULTICRYSTALLINE SILICON INGOTS BY INDUCTION METHOD - A process for the production of multicrystalline silicon ingots by the induction method comprises charging a silicon raw material into the melting chamber of a cooled crucible enveloped by an inductor, forming a melt surface, and melting, wherein the mass rate of charging the silicon raw material and the speed of pulling the ingot are set such that provide for the melt surface position below the upper plane of the inductor but not lower than ⅓ of the height thereof and the melt surface is kept at the same level. In doing this the melt surface position is kept at the same level by maintaining one of the output parameters of the inductor feed within a predetermined range. The process provides for casting multicrystalline silicon ingots suitable for solar cell fabrication and it is notable for higher efficiency and lower specific energy consumption. | 06-07-2012 |

20110084180 | Interchangeable Self-Locking Spring Loaded Quick Connect Apparatus For Wire Rope Cable and The Like - An interchangeable, self-locking, cable gripping and adaptive anchoring apparatus comprising a gripping component and adaptor component. The adaptor component comprises a receiving side for a fitting or anchoring device, and connector side to engage with cable or the like. The gripping component comprises a housing having a cable receiving end and dispatching end. The housing holds cable gripping elements comprising a spring, spacer and two jaws, within a tapering bore of the housing. At the dispatching end, the housing comprises an internal bore for engaging around the connector side of the adaptor component. The gripping component is spring-loaded and self-locking for securing a cable. The pressure of the adaptor component connector side against the spring, spacer and jaws, lock the inserted cable in place to only allow the cable to move in one direction. The adaptor component engages flush against the housing and securely to contain the housing components. | 04-14-2011 |

20080221469 | FITTING AND FLUID-CONVEYING DEVICE CONNECTED THERETO - A fitting for a fluid-conveying conduit. The fitting includes integrally-formed clamps that can be used to secure the conduit in a locking relationship so that likelihood of leakage and separation of the fitting and the conduit is reduced. In one form, the fitting and conduit can be used as a moisture exchange device. In a more particular form, the conduit wall of the moisture exchange device includes a water-permeable material such that a humidity level in the conduit can be controlled. Since the fitting is formed separately from the end of the conduit to which it is to be attached, fabrication cost and complexity is reduced. | 09-11-2008 |
